No one wants to hear problems, give them solutions

When you come to your manager or clients, granted they do not want to hear the problems, they have their own problems already. However, they need to know if the problems are happening…

What we need to  do as client service or subordinate  is to bring the problem as well as the solution that we think is good enough or the best we can do. Sometimes there is no solution to the problems that you can think of… it’s fine, it’s probably beyond your pay check. In that case offer an update to the situation on regular bases, so your manager or client will have no surprises and can have time to prepare it.

If you always come with the problem without potential solution, it shows that you do not care
